A series of 6 paintings inspired by the 2020 CA wildfire that turned our sky red. As the climate crisis become increasingly dire, more and more of our days will be covered in ashes. I painted about one image a week while the ashes were raining from the sky, and the fact that I was able to paint so many is a testament to how many weeks we couldn’t even breathe.
